Hi Ioan,

Great read. Do you think this case represents the future of narco prosecutions? Previously, I remember you writing (or speaking in an interview) about the brother of the Honduran president, Tony Hernandez, being another important individual with an important political position arrested and convicted.

Best wishes from St Paul, Minnesota.

Thanks much for the comment David. I certainly think it is a big and important development. And now political prosecutions are well on the table. It may have a deterrent effect, but politicians could also try shifting their tactics and being more hidden. We'll have to see if trafficking actually goes down. Best there in Minnesota and keep in touch.

Great read, Ioan. Looking forward to your coverage. How long do you think the trial will last?

Thanks much Andrew. They have blocked out 8 weeks for it, although it could go a bit longer or shorter. All best there!

Another great read, Ioan do you think the currently incarcerated inmates giving testimony against Luna will receive a time reduction on their own jail terms.

Thanks Mr Yellow. And yes almost certainly, they want something for their testimony. Bes there.
