Thanks for the shout out and a wrap up like this is a neat feature. Merry Christmas from the frozen tundra although we are having a mild winter because of "El Nino". It is now a mild 18 degrees F still good weather to barbeque in. I will still watch the mediocrity of the Glasgow Rangers and the roller coaster ride of Tottenham through the season and I just read a small Christmas delight from Insight on their long examination of President Bukele versus the gangs. You could just feel the crunching of their teeth and their long begrudgingly, sad and fatalistic acknowledgement that the gangs in El Salvador have been crushed. The godfather of such tactics, Julián Leyzaola Pérez, has been vindicated despite all the vitriolic press in the past especially from Insight. Nobody has given more in trying to create a safe city and country. Get ready for an incredible, wild year of 2024.

Ahh, the gallant Rangers and the Spurs. Keep warm there friend and thanks for the support throughout the season. I still have a few stories left for December, but indeed I have a feeling too that 2024 will be a wild one.

Nice to see Ecuador just elected a new President who has already taken action against the drug gangs there. Heading there this week to climb Cayambe and then off to the Galapogos. Merry Christmas and peace to the world.

Paying for the product you put out is no issue. I’ve certainly paid more for a lot less. Keep it coming.

I'm in southern Guanajuato, in relative cold with the rain pouring down like I'm in England, wishing you a happy Día de la Virgen. Jazz bands and fireworks are ignoring the rain and touring my town. Saludos!
