Across the Atlantic? Amazing! But yes, it would make sense. Still, four weeks is a long time to be at sea. Christopher Columbus would be astonished. 😀👮‍♂️🕵️‍♂️

Yeah, it is a reverse Columbus journey - taking coca from the new world to the old. All best there Kenneth!

Narcosubs, narcotanks, narco drones, narco planes, these crime organizations are incredibly resourceful. Imagine if they put all their talents into actual good? And la tuta looks so old now. Definitely a creepy old man can you believe he was caught because of a birthday cake

Yeah, it's a funny paradox - narcos are one of the most effective inventive forces in Mexico but they unleash mass destruction. What does society here favor success by narcos more than other sectors?

Did you know the American mob had influence in pre castro cuba in the 50s? Of course everyone knows because of the godfather part 2 but it's a fascinating story of American mobsters in cuba

Subs sound like a Mexican-styled holiday. Surprised someone hasn't started an anime series: 'Sub Wars: Narco'. I'm off to listen to the podcast now. Thanks, Ioan.

A great Anime series it would be. Also a game in the shops of "Narco Subs" with the rules of Battle Shops!

There genuinely isn’t enough money in the world that I could be paid to cross the Atlantic inside a narco semi-submersible!

Ioan Grillo's avatar

Yeah, imagine that. And bring banged up for years of caught would be im the calculation. They find people though!

If the Narcos can build these subs, imagine what the Chinese have in-store for Taiwan, Philippines, S. Korea, Australia, Guam, Hawaii, California, and Washington State in 2 years? And the Admirals say it can't happen! LOL !
