Mexico's New Security Plan - The Breakdown

I analyze the strategy against cartels declared today by President Claudia Sheinbaum

After taking power last week, Mexico’s new president Claudia Sheinbaum today announced her security strategy along with minister Omar García Harfuch, who is shaping into what we could call the “security tsar.” The plan was announced amid deep ongoing problems of bloodshed, with about 200,000 murders under previous president AMLO, and new red lights; the Sinaloa Cartel civil war rages and on Sunday, the new mayor of the large city of Chilpancingo in Guerrero state was decapitated.

However, the new strategy offers some hope, as I explain in the video, where I break down the plan and also say what they avoided.
